Show DUP Holds Meeting The May Cooper Burns Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers held their monthly meeting on March 3, at the home of Dorothy Willey. TWO LESSONS were given as the January meeting was cancelled because of a big snowstorm. The lessons given by Florence Flor-ence Searle was "Emigrant Pioneers" which featured the ancestor of the Burns family, Ellen Hancock Burns Mac-Duff, Mac-Duff, who settled in Bountiful, and "Early Schools of Utah". New officers were voted into office. The offices are held for two years. The new captain is Delia Rose, 1st vice captain, Dorothy Willey, 2nd vice captain, cap-tain, Lois Reynolds, Sec-Treas., Sec-Treas., Ruby Irving, Historian, Histo-rian, Rita Brown, chaplain, Lois Sargent, registrar, Marge Jensen, Organist, Laura Larsen, Chorister, Mary Christensen, parlimentarian, Carolyn Kuhn. |
