Show Farmington By KATHRYN JENNINGS 451-2027 Vivian and Doris Butt are parents of their ninth child, a boy born Feb. 16 and whose name will be Jeremy Andrew. Two of the brothers and sisters sis-ters are married, one is on an LDS mission, one attends Davis High, three are in elementary school and one is too young for school. A grandfather, grand-father, Merl Porter, lives in NSL. Glenda Rigby and .ier Laurel girls visited the Bountiful Bounti-ful Convalescent home on Wednesday evening and pre- sented a fun program. After the program, the girls celebrated cele-brated the birthday of Viveka Skstrom, a student here from Sweden living with Ken and Barbara Unsworth. There was a pizza party followed by ice skating in Bountiful. Milton and Fern Hess joined family members for an evening with Jerry and Carolyn Hess at their home in Kaysville on Monday. Other family members mem-bers present included Paul and Martha Hess of Centerville; Stephen and Vickie Hess, . Bountiful; Bruce and Christine Hale, Bountiful, and Dr. and Mrs. Robert (Ann) Clark, Layton. The 4th Ward Relief Society held a dinner and fashion show for members March 2. It was the Relief Society's birthday party with a fashion show, featuring wedding gowns of present and past, including some of the pioneer years. ' There was a musical program with Jill Dredge, Jan Porter and other members assisting. Rosemary Wilcox is president of the organization. Farmington 6th Ward Relief Society will celebrate their birthday on March 12 and inviting in-viting husbands to a buffet dinner din-ner at 7 p.m. in the Compton Bench Church. A book review, "Emma" will be presented. Assisting with the affair are Barbara Lambert, Tina Daniels and Beth Powell. Erla Pehrson is " president of the organization. Farmington 9th Ward Relief . Society will celebrate with a birthday party on March 18 for members. There will be a din- ; ner at 7 p.m. followed by several sev-eral mini classes including the making of quilt buntings for babies, Easter candy and cali- 1 co geese for the young ones. Maxine Mutchler is in charge of the event which will be held in the stake center at 695 S. 200 E. June Brown is . president. L.W. and Jannetta Robinson Robin-son have returned to Farming- - ton from their second home in -"-WashTngtoTiV'Uf: Just '-before' ' they returned , they had a family fami-ly reunion when Walt and Karma Kar-ma Broschinsky, Farmington, and Orson and Dorothy Cannon Can-non of Logan drove down to the affair. There were many cousins living in the Washing-, ton area who also attended the " party to renew old friendships, there were 51 guests present. |
