In 1980 about 90 percent of the semifinalists advanced as finalists by submitting academic acade-mic and extracurricular information infor-mation about themselves, and receiving the endorsement and recommendation of their principal, prin-cipal, and by presenting documentation of high academic acade-mic performace and class standing. THESE FIVE outstanding students are among the top one percent of the nation and we'd like to congratulate them and wish them good luck in the future. |
