The project is co-sponsored by USU, Utah State Board of Education, Endowment En-dowment for the Humanities, and the National History Day. THE PURPOSE is to help preserve history and to help students learn about their origins ori-gins and traditions, and to help students receive recognition for outstanding scholastic achievement. Students can receive re-ceive scholarships, cash awards, trips, trophies, etc. Davis county schools having hav-ing school fairs are South Davis Jr. Millcreek Jr., Woods Cross High School, Davis High School and Nolton Elementary. The public is invited in-vited to attend these school fairs. South Davis Jr. High's school fair will be Feb. 26 in the media center. THE REGIONAL Fair will be at the Utah Historical Society Soci-ety Building where students from Davis County will compete com-pete against students from Salt Lake City and Tooele school districts on March 19. Winners advance to the state fair which will be held on April 23-24 at the U. of U. Student Union Ballroom.
