Show West Bountiful The Fifth Ward will hold their ward conference on Feb. 8 and on Sunday Feb. 10. The Friday meeting will include seminars for the officers of the wards. This will begin at 7 p.m. Steven and Susan Willey. of the Golden West subdivision, are happy to report the birth of a baby boy born on Jan. 31. Mary Watts was happy to have a visit from her daughter-in-law. Beverly Watts, and her daughter Susan Watts who is now working in Salt Lake City. The Watts are residents of Los Altos. Calif. Greg Call, of the Sixth Ward, is conducting a dance class for the elders and wives of the Relief Society. It is sponsored by Bonnie Justin-son. Justin-son. Relief Society recreation leader. The couples will learn to waltz, do the swing and the jitterbug. Bonnie ishavingalol of fun doing her household tasks, taking care of her baby and doing her church work with a foot in a cast. The Relief Society recreation department is also having an exercise class each Tuesday and Saturday from 9-10 a.m. in the Jr. Sunday Sun-day School Room of the First and Sixth Ward. Over 80 attended the Second Ward Relief Society's family preparedness seminar held in the church house. Bishop Ron Bangerter introduced intro-duced the subject and complimented com-plimented the women on their desire to be prepared for any emergencies to come. Recordings were played of Pres. Spencer W. Kimball and of Pres. Ezra Taft Benson's advice to have family preparedness. pre-paredness. Guests then went to the various rooms to see the displays and demonstrations. All parents are reminded that this is 100 percent attendance attend-ance at Primary Month in all of the wards. The Paget and Arbuckle wedding held last Friday brought together many of the old West Bountifulites. The Tom Ryans were there from Provo. all of the Arbuckles in the area were present, and Joan Paget was visiting from California where she works as a governess in the Los Angeles area. Members of the Fourth Ward are reminded of the Feb. 29 ward budget dinner which will be held for adults only. Reed Smith will enter the MTC in Provo on Feb. 7. He will go to the Mexico City North Mission. Brion Moore left for Bogota. Columbia last Tuesday. It had taken a long time to get his visas. Mike Bateman and Jason Scott, members of the View- mont Hockey Team, are enjoying en-joying their team as its games are 9 or 10 p.m. or anytime a rink is ready. Steve Martin, son of the Howard Ho-ward Martins, and Julie Peterson Peter-son are happy that February is here and that their wedding is near. The Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet of the First Ward will be held Friday the 8th at 7 p.m. Aleen Foster is in charge and will be helped bv Carl Lund and Sharon George and other leaders. Congratulations to grandpa and grandma Bob Dilks in the birth of their new granddaughter granddaugh-ter born to Steve and Jan Dilks.
