Show NEWSPAPERS SUFFER THROUGH INFLUENZA Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Nov. 13. The influenza epidemic epi-demic has hit the local newspapers diarder than any other industry, according to reports today. ' The death of Albert ' Greenwell, city editor of the Standard, occurred this morning. Those of the news staffs who are 111 are Prank Francis, editor of the Standard; Mrs. George San-ford, San-ford, assistant editor of the Standard; Earl V. Rowe, Associated Press operator for the Standard; Joseph B. Bates, Associated Asso-ciated Press operator for the Examiner; O. Q. Miller, city editor of the Examiner. It was reported this afetrnoon that the condition of the men was improved. The Associated Press met the situation here by sending Leroy Rice from the Salt Lake office and Edward A. Mc-Manus Mc-Manus from the Denver office. |
