Show Keith J. Bowen Dies After Major Operation Funeral services were held today to-day at 11 a.m. in the Roosevelt LDS stake chapel for Keith j Bowen, 36, prominent Basin rancher ranch-er and resident of Bennett. He died in a Salt Lake hospital following fol-lowing an operation. He was born Nov. 4, 19i9i jn Roosevelt, a son of J. Perry and Frances Horrocks Bowen. He married mar-ried Norma Hallett, Jan. 8, 1938 in Vernal. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints, and at the' time of his death was vice-president 'of the Uintah Cattle Association, and held various other community and civic responsibilities. Mr. Bowen is survived by his wife and' six children. Norma Kaye, Bruce J., William Lloyd (Billy), Sandra Lee, John Parry (Jack) and Barbara Ann, and his mother, all of Bennett; grandfather, John J. Horrocks, Neola; three sisters. Mrs. Sherwood (Gwen) Butterfield, Riverton; Mrs. W. H. (Fawn) Coltharp, Jr., Roosevelt; and Mrs. Mark (Fern) Oberhansly,' Neola. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Orpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. |
