Show Miss Joyce Gillespie Becomes Bride oi Larry P.Mortensen In a marriage ceremony which was solemnized in the L D S tempje at Logan last Friday morning, Miss Joyce Gillespie of Provo, became the bride of Larry P. Mortensen of Parowan. The new Mrs. Mortensen is a daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford S. Gillespie of Provo, and Mr. Mortensen Mor-tensen a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wimmer Mortensen of this city. The ceremony was performed by A Geirge Raymond, president of the temple. That same evening the newly married couple was honored at a reception held on the lawn at the home of the bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sharp C. Gillespie at Provo. Receiving guests at the reception besides the bride and groom and their parents, were Miss Ludell Edwards', maid of honor, and Miss Delores Mortensen, Morten-sen, Miss Maurine Heusen and Gay Frashonski, as bridesmaids'. Lyle Mortensen stood as best man for his brother. The bride is' a graduate of the Lincoln High School at Orem and attended the Brigham Young University. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Tarowan High School and also graduated from the Central Utah VocationaJ School at Provo, in June of this year Following a short honeymoon |
