Show Cedar Breaks Gets Additional Improvement Funds WASHINGTON, D. C. Sen. Wallace F. Bennett reported this 'week that the National Parks Service has allocated $225,500 for expenditure at Cedar Breaks National Na-tional M'liument during the coming fiscal year. This compared with an original origin-al budget request of only $85,900. The additional funds were provided pro-vided as a result of efforts by Sen. Bennett and other western legislators to have certain projects pro-jects moved ahead in their Mission Mis-sion C6 schedule. Funds needed for the change were appropriated by Congress. ' The money will be allocated as follows: Reconstruction of 6'i miles of the rim road, $75,000; extension of roads and trails at Point Supreme, Su-preme, $10,900; comfort station, campground and picnic areas,! $12,ioi); sewage disposal system, $35,000; employee rldence (1-unit, (1-unit, $15,000; power dittrilmtion lines, $1,500. |
