Show Two Republicans File For Election To County Offices Two more Republicans have entered the political race for county offices to be filled at the election in November. The county commission post, four-year term has attracted another an-other candidate, this time Norman Norm-an Heaton of Cedar City. Two other Republicans, William R. Thorley and Morgan Slack, both of Cedar City, had filed for the position some time ago. Mr. Heaton, an employee at the Iron mines west of Cedar City, has long been an active community com-munity and church worker and is well known throughout the county. Hillman Dalley, who has held the position of county assessor and surveyor for many years, who is nearly always elected to the position without opposition in either political party, has filed for re-election to the position on the Republican ticket. Dalley had indicated that he would not seek re-election this year, but changed his mind and filed for the nomination last week. |
