I College Receives $300 Scholarship Grant From Cedar Lions Club A special gift of $300 for scholarships schol-arships was presented to the Col-lffje Col-lffje of Southern Utah this week. Making the presentation on behalf be-half of the Cedar City Lions Club was President Wallace Osborne. Accepting the check Director, Royden C. Braithwaite expressed great appreciation and told of the "excellent support the College Col-lege had learned to expect from the Lions Club as well as other civic groups in the community. "With such cooperation, support sup-port and friendship the College continues to grow in influence and stature," he said. Also present to receive the scholarships was Coach Bruce Osborne representing the Physical Physi-cal Education division. The money will go primarily into the athletic program at the College. Coach Osborne expressed his thanks to the Club and its members mem-bers for the assistance. |
