Show Walter K. Granger To Speak at July 4 Celebration Former Congressman Walter K. The public meeting will be held in the Third Ward chapel at 10 a. m. or Immediately following fol-lowing the parade on July 4 and all people of the community are urged to attend this feature of the day's program. Others who will take part on the program besides Mr. Bunn, who will be master of ceremonies, ceremon-ies, and Mr. Granger will be Kendall Ken-dall Gurr and Howard Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, other officers of the Legion, with musical numbers under the direction of LaNoir Asay of the high school music department. Other feature of the day's observance ob-servance will be as announced last week, with the daybreak salute, sal-ute, the miniature parade at 0 a. m., the public meeting following, fol-lowing, with children's sports at 10 and children's dance at 12. The Red Hill Wrangler's Race Meet and amateur rodeo will begin be-gin at 2 p. m. at the city race track, and a dance for everyone will be held in the evening. The Wranglers will continue the celebration on July 5 with the second program of racing at! 2 in the afterr.on. |
