Show Life Insurance Co. Reorganizes To Broaden Service Cooperative Life of America, a member of the Farm Bureau insurance in-surance companies, is being reorganized re-organized as a mutual life insurance in-surance company, according to Frank G. Shelley, executive see- retary, Utah Farm Bureau, and I secretary of the insurance firm. Effective July 1 the company 'became known as Country Mu-I Mu-I tii.il Life. "Present policy holders," hold-ers," Mr. Shelley stated, "will not be affected by the change to a mutual company in any way whatsoever. Our primary purpose in the move is to broaden our service area and provide insurance insur-ance to groups not previouslly served." Cooperative Life of America was formed 20 years ago by Francis W. Kirkham, manager, with a fund of $5X. Company assets today stand at over $1,-2.r0,0)0, $1,-2.r0,0)0, with tinassigned surplus funds in excess of double the legal requirements. Some 17,500 families in Utah are represented in the over $30,000,0X) life insurance in-surance in force. As an affiliate of the American Farm Bureau Federation, the company has maintained a continuing con-tinuing educational program on ( insurance needs for members, I with special emphasis on policies suited to the neci of farm families. |
