Show Thomas Evans Family Enjoys Trip To Eastern Seaboard A busy month has just been spent by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Evans and children Thomas, Lin-day Lin-day and Virginia. The family arrived ar-rived home last week, from a month's vacation trip which took them to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., for a visit with Mrs. Evans' mother, Mrs. V. A. Meline. In the locality of Fort Lauderdale there are four hundred miles of inland waterways water-ways and so it is needless to say that the family enjoyed some very fine boating and water fun. After spending a week in Florida, Flori-da, where they did a lot of sightseeing, sight-seeing, enjoying the everglade jungles and marine land, where they were especially interested in the trained porpoises, they traveled trav-eled on to Long Branch, N. J. While at the seashore resort, they were guests of Mr. Evans' father, fath-er, Moses Evans. It is very Interesting to know that Cedar City gets a free ad-j vertising spot on the Eastern' Seaboard broadcasting station1 there in Long Branch each morn-j ing. By special request of Mr. Evans' brother, the Cedar City! weather report Is included in the dally national forecast. As they left New Jersey, the family returned re-turned home via the Ohio Turnpike Turn-pike and Chicago. While on the turnpike the family had the' startling experience of seeing a' tornado twister heading across country towards them only to disintegrate before reaching their ' position. All told, the Evans family found their month of experiences plentiful. |
