Show CEDAR CITY . SOCIAL SWING Hostess for the II and H. Club meeting on Thursday was Mrs. Walter Merryweather. Mrs. Reed Bradshaw was Invited to read the popular book by Betty Smith, "Maggie Now." The 10 members and guest, Mrs. Gladys Brady, enjoyed the afternoon and the well given book review. Dessert was served by the hostess. Visiting in Cedar City at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lunt, is D. Eldon Lunt, his wife and children Bob and June Rose. Arriving via plane for a 10-day visit, the faimly has enjoyed every minute possible at the lovely mountain home at Navajo. Also scheduled before their return to their Dallas, Tex. home, is a horsebavk ride and dinner under the stars at North Fork. The Texas travelers are looking forward to the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lunt on Wednesday as they come from their home in Logan, bringing the newest members of their family, fam-ily, Julie Anne, to get acquainted with her aunt, uncle and cousins. cou-sins. This will be the little one's first visit to her grandparents. Attending the statewide Beta Sigma Phi convention held in Ogden last week end were Donna Don-na Cooley, Pat Imlay, Myrdith Rice, Donna Green, Marva Esp-lin Esp-lin and Evelyn Williams. The ladies la-dies drove to Salt Lake on Friday Fri-day evening, continuing on to Ogden Saturday for the convention conven-tion activities. As guests of the Ogden sorority chapters the ladles lad-les were taken on a tour of the city followed by a most delirious barbecue held at Monroe Park. The Sunday agenda included an Inspirational devotional hour followed fol-lowed by a nicely arranged breakfast. Forums were held In the early part of the day, after which an Impressive banquet brought the convention to a close. The ladies report having enjoyed enjoy-ed a very successful convention.! Mrs. Jones and the Hyatts enjoy-, ed a family reunion in Parowan on Saturday. i A patio barbecue and swim-, ming party was held last Satur-' day at the home of Aliene Hyatt. Gene. Leaving Ce-j dar City on Wednesday they were guests of Mrs. Smith's parents, Mr and Mrs. Eugene Baborde, in Pomona. Mrs. Smith's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. L. Brin-derson Brin-derson of Chino, were their hosts for the last part of their vacation, j Bridge was the evening pas-, time Wednesday for the ladies of Mrs. Yorke Nelson's club. Serv-!
