Show Second Ward flux. Organizations Have New Officers Several of the auxiliary organizations organ-izations of the Parowan Second Ward have been reorganized in the past two or three weeks with that ward's Sunday School and both Mutual Improvement Associations Asso-ciations getting new officers. That ward's Y M M I A was the latest of its auxiliaries to re-ceive re-ceive a change in officers with Jim Worthen named as the new superintendent, with Mel Eyre and Dan Hakes as his assistants. Mr. Eyre was an assistant superintendent sup-erintendent in the retiring super-intendency super-intendency and will remain in the new one. Clarence Stubbs is the retiring superintendent and Chester Stubbs is retiring as his assistant. We understand that Merrell Ilalterman will remain as secretary secre-tary of the group. The YWMIA of the ward was reorganized recently with Mrs. Rupert Hulet named president, with Mrs. Homer Adams and Mrs. Joan Wheatley as counselors. counsel-ors. Berniece Evans will remain as secretary of the organization. Frank Mortensen will be first assistant and Glade Smith second assistant in the new sup-erintendency sup-erintendency with Miss Marilyn I Warner to remain as secretary. ih. Adams and Mr. Mortensen were assistants to Mr. Hulet in the past superintendency. Mrs. Webster Bettridge will be Junior Sunday School Coordinator, Coordinat-or, replacing Mrs. Joan Wheat-iley, Wheat-iley, and Airs. lone Orton was named librarian, a position held by Mrs. Bettridge before she was given her new position. |
