Show July 24 Celebration Plans Completed By Stake Committee Plans are nearing the final stages for the gigantic July 21th celebration in Cedar City. Cedar Stake is sponsoring the pioneer Day program and will use the funds received for helping to car-' ry forward the work on the LDS Seminary which is nearing com ! pletion. The various wards of the stake, have been assigned certain activities acti-vities and each committee is attempting at-tempting to make its part the most entertaining possible. A pionetr parade featuring early Utah and Cedar City his torical events will start the dayi off at 10 a.'m. The local In-' dians, under the direction of Wil-lian Wil-lian R Manning, are cooperating j with Bishop Forrest Anderson, I chairman of the parade committee. commit-tee. An excellent program is being prepared by the Sons of the Utah Pioneers to be presented at 11 a. m. Sports and activities of all kinds will take place during the entire day. In the evening a rodeo featuring featur-ing local and visiting cowboys, will lie presented on the Iron Ranger rodeo grounds in Cedar Canyon. Dances for all ages will conclude con-clude the day's activities. , |
