Show ERIGHAM CITY CAR SERVICE DISCONTINUED Special to The Tribune. BRIGHAM CITYt, Aug. 20. Brigham City's street car service was discontinued yesterday, according to previous arrangements arrange-ments of the Utah-Idaho Central Railroad company. The service was installed here a number num-ber of years ago by the Utah-Idaho Cen- j tval in the hope that the business would ; gradually grow with the city and that the i company would later be compensated for 1 the losses it would necessarily undergo in tho beginning. Brigham City's street paving and "great white way" program i did away with all expectations, however, and the railroad company was forced off the streets. j Bids are now being advertised for on , the Improvements, and construction work will commence as soon as tho contracts' are lot.
