Show WEEK'S WEATHER IS FAVORABLE TO CROPS For the last week temperatures have continued moderate in northern Utah and comparatively high in southern counties, according to the weekly report of the weather bureau, issued yesterday. The precipitation was very light, if any, generally, gen-erally, but comparatively heavy in Millard Mil-lard county, according to the report. The report said the weather, on the whole, was favorable to livestock, and the summer ranges and the winter range prospects are greatly improved in ban Juan, Grand and Millard counties. Potatoes, tho third crop of alfalfa and beets are progressing favorably, tho report re-port stated, and late peaches nnd fall apples continue promising, though some applc3 are dropping. Late peaches are ripening at Brigham City. The weather has been favorable for the threshing of early grains and the harvesting har-vesting of late grains, which were In good condition in general. Tho Millard county alfalfa seed crop continues thrifty and very promising, the weather being unusually un-usually good, and the earliest crop is now being' harvested, according to the report.
