The field of fifteen fif-teen for the seventh annual road race here next Saturday was announced this afternoon by Manager Fred Jenks of the Elgin Road Race association. Inasmuch as all machines are here, there will be no scratches or withdrawals. The official list of entries follows: Driver. Car. Ralph Mulford Deusnberg Kight Tommy Milton Deusenberg Eight Tom Alley Bender Special Paul Harvey Peugeot Art Kline Peugeot Joe Thomas Mercer Ed Schillo Mercer Ira Vail Phllsbrin Special Cliff Durant Chrevolet Waldo S-teln Oldfield Special E. J. Whelen Hudson Special Roscoe Harles Roamer Special Kurt Hitke Roamer Special Al Cooley Ogden Special Percy Ford Haines Tom Alley's Bender and Kurt Hitke's Roamer were on the track for two hours this afternoon. The pilots reported the back stretch rather soft in spots.
