The action of the authorities followed rejection tonight by the strikers of a compromise com-promise offer of tho car company officials offi-cials made at the end of a series of conferences con-ferences which bewail last Friday. The strikers, whose female relatives have joined in previous disorders, are declared to have notified the police that they v.-ill permit no one to enter the car works tomorrow morning.
