Show SWEK1E! euctjpb Salt Lake Man Is Chosen President ; Eureka Gets Next Convention. Special to The Tribune. SANDY, Aug. 20. The Utah State Firemen's association today accorded to j Eureka the honor of entertaining the next convention, which will be held in August of the coming year. Eureka was out for the honor from the opening- of the convention here and won hands down. Officers for the ensuing1 year also were elected today, and were as follows: President, Pres-ident, E. D. Anthony of Salt Lake; first vice president, Georpe Harris of Mid vale: second vice president, Charles Crump of Bountiful ; secretary, T. L. Hatch of Sprintrville; treasurer, Reuben Simpson of Salt Lake ; trustees, "W. T. Ayland of .Salt Lake, W. W. Wilson of Sandy and J. T. Thomas of Sj.-tntsh Fork. The convention will close tomorrow with a big- parade in the forenoon, an elaborate program of sports and contests in the afternoon and a ball in Imperial hall at Midvaio in the evening-. |
