Show Class of '66 held reunion Friday and Saturday, July 24 and 25, a class reunion was held for Uintah High School's class of 19G6. There was a dinner, dance and program held at the Elks Lodge Friday evening. About 130 attended. Duane Humphries was Master of Ceremonies for the program. Prizes were awarded to James Bowden for the "Bald is Beautiful" award; Phil Hardy for traveling the farthest; Brenda Rich Shepard for the most recently married ; Gary and Velyn Tassainer for the newest baby; Willa Rae Millecam Dillworth for the most children; Ellen Richardson for playing the field the longest; Jon Banks for being the fastest runner; Dale and Kathy Snow for the stork award; Roland Searle's wife Pam was first to complete the spouse's questionaire. New officers for 'the upcoming 20 year reunion were elected. They are President Janet Murray Fitts; Vice President Jeanie Smith Tolbert; Committee members, Evan Hall, Scott Duke, Bill Pope and DeVon Smuin. Saturday at noon class members and their families enjoyed a pot luck picnic at Merkley's Orchard. Those responsible for the reunion were Todd Searle, Billy Wardle, Darline Ufford, committee members; Diane Abplanalp Coltharp and Ilene Storey Hanblin, games and prizes; Veronica Wallen Boren, Terry Boren Vanderkraats, Helen Huff Henderson, decorations; Corey Grua, radio advertising; ad-vertising; Phyllis Caldwell Harward, letters and advertising; Janet Murray Fitts, special help; Duane Humphries, program; Evan Hall, photography; Leland Gotfredson, history book. |
