They visited at the home of Jay Burk in Pocatello. Debbie Burk accompanied them home to visit her grandmother Blanch Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Williams of Springville; Mrs. Morgan (Doris) Harrison of Reams visited at the Boyd Hatch home this past week. The family of Frank H. Smith held their reunion at Remember the Maine Park Saturday, Aug. 8. Attending were Deb and Francis Burnes of California; from Salt Lake City came Lola and Richard Rowley; Leo and Francis Goodrich and daughters; from Lehi, Delos and Eunice Watkins and Debbie Burk of Pocatello. Visiting at the home of Leo E. and Virginia Hacking for the past two weeks was Martha Barr of NewBerry, South Carolina. This was the area the Hackings served while on their mission. Guests at the Howard Williams home were Gary and Carma Rae Fereday and family of Salt Lake City. They also visited the Hackings and brother D. Roger Hacking family. Mr. and Mrs. Duain Richens and family of Richfield, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tomlinson, Mrs. Charles (Beulah) Richens, Nancy Benson, from Roosevelt; Sarah Kettle of Myton; Shane and Donnel Whiting and son Jessie of Rangely; the Calvin Richens of Ashley visited with the Charles Ray Richens family attended the farewell for Charles Ron Richens Sunday, Aug. 9 at Maeser Second Ward. Allen and Nancy Cardall have a son born July 26 at the Ashley Valley Medical Center. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and his name will be Michael Ames. Grandparents are Gordon and Medra Cardall and Cicle and Diane Ames all of Bountiful. Many friends and neighbors of Grover and Grace Dye attended the funeral for them in Neola Saturday, Aug. 8. |
