Show Lapoint Lois Pa'-rnu'ien 247-2475 Trophy winners are Clints Chicks Trophy winners of the "B" League UBIC Tournament was the "Clint's Chicks" ladies Softball team from Lapoint-Tridell. The team members are: Allison Huber, Cindy Harvey, Uiui.se Bascom, Rhonda Angus, Sue Ann Green, Kathy Nielsen, Lanette Carlson, Janet McKee, Karen Horrocks.-Linda Huber, Debra Walker and Lynnette Holdaway . Their coach is Jim Frescus. Congratulations girls! Allen and Chris Harvey are making their home in Lapoint, living in the Kenneth Rasmussen home. They moved from Woods Cross. They have one child, a son Ronald. Jay and Veon Harvey visited the Bascoms and Merrill Rasmussen this past weekend. They came to Lapoint to help the Allen Harveys get moved in. H. Rulon and Ranae Schurz and son Jessie, also daughter Tina formerly of Lapoint and Battle Mountain, Nevada are moving back to the Uintah Basin. They will make their home in Jensen. tan ana Mae warnurton had a family get-together at their home with 24 of the family present. Nyle and wife April and their three children of Vernal; Ver-nal; Earline and Loyal Johnson of Kaysville, Shirley Rich and sons of Ballard, Larry Rich and wife Karen of Ballard, Marie Ames and children of Roosevelt and Glenda Horrocks of Ballard. Their daughter Cindy is still on her mission in Poughkeepsie, New York. Fern Burgess of Lapoint is a resident of the Stewart Convalescent Center in Roosevelt. Her husband Hyrum has been there for the past few years. Vernon Esplin gave his mission report Sunday. He has just returned from Oahu and Molekai, Hawaiian Islands. Clifford and Caroline Lee and children went to the Provo Temple on Saturday and were sealed. They moved from California to Lapoint and are building a home here. Caroline is the daughter of Matt and Arda Mansfield. |
