Show Clipper makes changes, welcome new readers It is a new year, and the Clipper is forging ahead with many new changes. A religious page has already been implemented and several sev-eral more are beginning. We need your help to make them successful. New will be a weekly health column col-umn in question-answer style. Readers may ask questions by writing to the Clipper in care of the Health Section and one of the local dentists, doctors, optometrists and chiropractors will answer them in the column. Any questions concerning con-cerning preventative and other types of care are welcome. These professionals have volunteered volun-teered this service. Here is your chance to get free information and save your health. Another feature is that of an entertainment en-tertainment page featuring county movie theaters, community plays and other exciting events. You can turn to the Clipper for the latest local entertainment. As the heading says we want "you" to be a part of our paper. We will concentrate efforts on highlighting neighbors, friends, family members, employees, teachers, etc. in the county who give that "little extra" to others I and help to make the community a better place to live. If you know of a volunteer, brother, employer, civic leader or worker, neighbor, etc. who deserves de-serves some recognition let us know. We want the Clipper to be a "good news" paper. Thank you and we hope you enjoy en-joy this new year with the Clipper! |
