Show Woods Cross High Cat Chat news By JOANNA MOODY Isn't it great to be back in the swing of things? 1987 flew by pretty pret-ty quick I must say. Now we are about one week into our new year of 1988. This is the time to remember remem-ber so. ..make it great!! Today we have girls' basketball WX at East at 4 p.m. and at the same time we have sophomore basketball bas-ketball at East. Now just wait a minute! Something is wrong because be-cause my often fallible calendar states that two games are at the same place at the same time! Jump back! I can only assume that one of these exciting games will be at Woods Cross. (We can only hope!) So come and be surprised! Well, back to the drawing board. We have swimming, Bountiful at WX at 3 p.m. this event actually takes place not at WX but at the Bountiful Indoor Pool. And tonight at 7:30 p.m. our wrestlers will wrestle Davis at WX. Tomorrow, the 8th at 7:30 come see a great basketball game at East, Good luck teams! Meanwhile, back in Arizona, our drama department has traveled to a very prestigious competition at ASU. Hopefully, they're making a scene and having fun in the sun! Our marvelous madrigals are all able to breathe normally again after their several stunning perform- ances during the holiday season. They were constantly on the road but they sure cheered people up wherever they went! Mr. Hen-drickson Hen-drickson (the director) has only been at Woods Cross for a short while but he is doing a fantastic job. Our choral programs are growing and becoming better than ever. It's quite amazing! On the 12th of January, our wrestlers are at Bountiful at 7:30 and our basketball team is home playing against Highland at the same time. The 11th starts off our 1 Junior Week with great activities up until the 16th which, by the way, is Junior Prom . Get read y for some fun and romancin'! And have a super week! j 1 |
