Show Bountiful High Brave Rave news By JILL JENSON Happy New Year and welcome back to work! I hope all of you had an exciting vacation and enjoyed the holiday. This year sixteen families fami-lies had an exceptional Christmas as Bountiful High students, parents pa-rents and citizens of the community commun-ity joined together in providing presents, pre-sents, money, and food for our Santa-Aid program. I realize that I have mentioned this before, but we want to thank you so much for your help and support! sup-port! The Braves really got into the Christmas spirit and we want to especially thank the students who donated two new bikes, a new coat, $260, $70, $40, brand new stuffed animals, and much more you are great people, and the sixteen six-teen families thank you also. This new year has a lot of excitement excite-ment coming with it for the sophomores, the joy of turning 16 and becoming juniors; for the juniors, the relief of only one year left and the anticipation of being "Big Seniors"; and for the seniors, the obvious, graduation! 1988 is definitely de-finitely going to be an eventful year! To start the year is Friday's game against Viewmont. Our first season game is destined to be dynamic, dyna-mic, and we want all of you there! Remember our outstanding football foot-ball game with Viewmont? Well, this one's going to be just as spirited, spi-rited, and we need everyone there to cheer our team on and show Viewmont just who has the most spirit! That's Friday night, Jan. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Bountiful High. Be there ! After the game there will be a victory stomp in BHS's girls' gym and all Bountiful High students can get in free with their activity card! This is just to show our thanks to the Braves for supporting Santa-Aid Santa-Aid this year. The cost for everyone every-one else will be $2. The girls' basketball team played very well in their game against Weber We-ber Tuesday and we wish them luck in their game today at Bountiful Bounti-ful High against the Davis Darts. Also, good luck to the swimmers and wrestlers who are competing against Woods Cross and Highland. High-land. Junior Prom is coming up, so guys start asking! It will be the 30th of January and will be held in the north lobby of the Salt Palace. London Bridge will play our favorite favo-rite songs starting at 8:30 p.m. Remember also, the musical is coming on the 15th, 16th, 18th and 19th of January at 7:30 p.m. This year's musical is "Annie" and promises to be a fun show!
