Show Named to Odyssey House board BOUNTIFUL Bountiful High School Assistant Principal Andrew Odoardi has recently been appointed to the Odyssey House Board of Directors. "I am proud to be a part of this program," said Mr. Odoardi. "Odyssey House has a significant record in assisting individuals indi-viduals to become drug-free. The dedicated staff and family setting, have motived difficult youth and adults toward success." According to Mr. Odoardi, "Odyssey House is a non-profit organization which receives support sup-port from the State of Utah, United Way, local foundations, donations, dona-tions, and patient fees." The challenge chal-lenge for the organization this year, said Mr. Odoardi, is to bring in $450,000 in private donations to compensate for the decrease in governmental funds. Odyssey House has been located in Salt Lake City since 1971. Responding Re-sponding to a great need for adoles-cent adoles-cent treatment services, the Adolescent Program was opened in 1977. The Utah Odyssey House's ANDREW ODOARDI adolescent program combines therapy, recreation, and education in a therapeutic community setting to treat delinquent, abused, and other psychological problems including in-cluding substance abuse. |
