Show Ballard 1 Telintha Rasmussen jj Phone 722-4875 j Sixth car to land in pasture Sunday evening, Rodney Rasmussen's (Roosevelt) car went off U.S. 40 and rolled through Mrs. Hobbs fence into her pasture land. No one seemed to be hurt. Mrs. Hobbs has lived on her farm for five years and this is the sixth car that has gone through her fence. . At a Ballard town planning meeting held recently at the town and county building, Kelly Redmund was chosen chairman for the annaul Ballard celebration day to be held Sept. 19, 1981. After the Christmas holidays are over he will choose others for his helpers. There were three babies blessed and named in North Ballard Ward last Sunday. Sun-day. They were Kelly Sullivan's baby, Jeff Winn's baby son and Chunky Murray's Mur-ray's grandchild. The Orlan Cooks have their 1st grandchild. grand-child. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Killian of South Roosevelt, Nov. 25 .at Uintah County Hospital, and weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz., and named Nicole. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ross Killian of Ioka. Great grandparents grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. Van Killian of Fillmore, Utah and T. Golden Collins. Mirth Gardner and son Kip have " opened up the Rib and Tail Cafe December 4, just west of Roosevelt on U.S. 40. They are the new managers. Orlo Spencer was in Salt Lake City last Saturday. He got to see the Jazz basketball team play. Maxine Farnsworth is home from a Salt Lake hospital and feeling fine. Also Mrs. Dennis Toyland is home from a Salt Lake hospital. |
