Show I.ION CLUB MiWS The Lady Lions have planned a Christmas party par-ty for the Lions and their partners and guests, Dec. 10, 7 p.m. al Uintah High School cafeteria. Vard Openshaw, chairman chair-man of the social services committee, indicates the project to fill Christmas , baskets for needy families will begin al 6 a.m., Dec. 4, at Day's Thriftway. Director Karl Migliori and the recreational services ser-vices committee were responsible for obtaining, transferring and placing the community Christmas tree on the county building lawn. The Lions have received receiv-ed a certificate of appreciation ap-preciation from Daryl Xbumway, chairman of the Lions charities foundation foun-dation for their support to charities. Coming events for the Lions will be their Christmas party Dec. 10, filling Christmas baskets, Dec. 24 and Melvin Jones Founders night, Jan. 14 at the lamplighter. |
