Show f NELLIE MOON Nellie Moon dies at 77 Nellie Amelia Moon, 77, of Vemal died in the Uintah County Hospital Dec. 3, 1980. Born May 6, 1903 in Vernal, she is the daughter of Alson S. and Dora Hunting. She married Wallace William Southam in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April 5, 1922, and he died May 6, 1954. She later married William Ervin Moon Sept. 5, 1955 in Vernal. She was a registered practical nurse, homemaker, member of Vernal Third Ward, and former Primary and Relief Society teacher. i Services were Dec. 6 in the Naples First Ward Chapel. Deon Moon gave the family prayer and Bishop Lawrence C. Kay conducted the service. ser-vice. The Naples Ward Choir sang "In the Garden," and Grant Southam gave the invocation. Bishop Kay gave the obituary and Victor Wilkens spoke. The choir sang "Whispering Hope," and ' Kenneth Moon gave the benediction. Harve McKee dedicated the grave in the Vernal Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Niles Southam, Owen Nelson, Harvey McKee, Bernard Moon, Ron Snow, Marlin Moon, Ralph Southam, and Clair Southam. Survivors are husband of Vernal; four sisters, Mrs. Harvy (Reva) McKee of Vernal, Mrs. Glenn (Thelma) Oaks of Vernal, Mrs. Ivan (Venna) Merrill of VernaJ and-Mfs.Gf ace McKeachnie of Vernal; i and a brother Lowell E. Hunting of Ogden, Utah. |
