Show By l)U'li a Kllifrilz i Blood pressure clinic will be held at the Golden Age Center Dec. 22. Our Christmas dinner will also be held Dec. 22 with a ham and turkey buffet dinner. Plan on being in attendance to wish your friends and neighbors a happy holiday. Monday's dinner had 146 enjoying a roast beef dinner. Melba Wobdhouse helped get us into the Christmas spirit with some Christmas music on the organ. Plan on enjoying our meals in December. We will be having Christmas Christ-mas programs and good food. ' Next week's menus will be Monday, Dec. 15, meat loaf and Thursday, Dec. 18, dinner will be salmon loaf. Bingo winner for the week was a tie between Lena Mast and Anna Pierson with 6 games each. Second place was Elvira Slaugh with 5 games. The Friday night dance was a great success with about 150 people in attendance. at-tendance. The Homesteaders donated the music for the evening in honor of Newel and Bonnie Behunin. Gidget Gardner sang songs to entertain en-tertain the group. Newcomers at the Friday night dance were Mr. and Mrs. Mandy Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Atwood, Marion Ellifritz and Mr. and Mrs. Walt Bowden. Happy birthday was sung by the dancers to Tiny Wilkens on her 87th milestone. Congratulations, Tiny, keep up your dancing. The Friday night dances are open to the public. Anyone wanting a good clean atmosphere can come and enjoy themselves. A small fee is charged. With the next two weeks coming up, let's get into the Christmas spirit and wear red or green. Maybe we will have a good snow fall by this Friday which would get us into the Christmas holiday spirit. Birthday wishes this week go to Ruby Greenhow on Dec. 13, Ninnon Bradley and Crystal Reynolds on Dec. 17. Also to any others we may have missed. Have a great week! |
