Show I Naples I Jo Openshaw I Phone 789-3157 UHS entertains Relief Society Naples 1st Ward held their Relief Society Christams party Tuesday vening with a dinner and program I he Hi-Lites from Uintah High School entertained as part of the program. Charles and Fern Everett of Fruita, Colo., came Saturday morning and attended the funeral of Nellie S. Moon, and visited their mother, Nellie Richens. They returned to Fruita Saturday evening. Sheila Lind and Cheryl Grammer attended the Holly fair at Roosevelt Thursday and Friday in the interest of Naples 1st Ward Boy Scout project. Nellie Richens, accompanied by her daughter Fern Everett and granddaughter grand-daughter Shelly and Vern Howells of Fruita, Colo., spent Thankgsgiving with the Hugh L. Richens in Las Vegas, Nev. Elva Manwaring returned Monday from a two months visit with her sons in Vanderhoof, Canada. She spent a month with the Victor Manwarings and while there flew to Bella Colla, Canada. In Redmond, Wash., she visited the Glendon Manwaring family and while there she attended the open house and dedication of the new LDS Seattle Temple. Naples 2nd ward held their Relief Society Christmas party Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. B.J. Pitchford were in Salt Lake City two days last week. Ray and Marial Nash returned Monday from a weeks visit with their son Ray Lamar and family in Walnut Creek, Calif. Ron and Wendy Woods and family spent Thankgsgiving week with Mrs. Woods mother, Marjorie Perry in Farmington. Ken and Sheila Lind and family went to Roosevelt Sunday to attend the blessing of their granddaughter, the baby of Wade and Leann Needles. The baby was named Heather Dawn. Mrs. Robert Kay entertained at a dinner in honor of their daughter Linzi Lee's first birthday. Present were Lanny and Joy Kay and sons John and Paul ; Bruce and Ida Mortensen and the Kays Annette Reynolds entertained at a slumber party last week in honor of her son Brett's eighth birthday. |
