Show P-TA Has Meeting P-TA meeting1 was held last Wednesday, in the school auditorium. audi-torium. The program consisted of a reading, by Cheri Nelson; vocal solos, by Carol Brown and Dorothv Luck. Business of ' the evening consisted of plan ning another "Parents' Day, to take place after school instead of during the regular school hours. Also outlined was the campaign to raise funds for a projector for the school. . During the next two weeks, pupils will become salesmen and will solicit magazine subscriptions subscrip-tions for the Curtis Publishing Co. A percentage of the money obtained will be retained by the school. Individual prizes will also be awarded to the children selling .the most subscriptions. Louise Davis and two children, chil-dren, of Vernal, were Sunday visitors at the home of her parents; par-ents; Hr. and Mrs. Lorin Mills. Mrs. Ina Mecham, of Orem, is visiting here with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Duncan. Dun-can. Mr.' and Mrs. Brent Nickel and children, of Price, visited at the Joe Malnar home last Sunday. Sunday guests at the Theron Horrocks home included Mr. and Mrs. Mirl Jennings and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Johansen, of Roosevelt. |
