George Stone, of Idaho, is f visiting his brother, William H. Stone. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Drollin-- Drollin-- ger and Mr. and Mrs. Ellen Timothy and family went to : Mrs. William Ostler's Sunday to help celebrate the birthdays of DeVear and Gene Otsler. both sons of William (Bill) Ostler. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Drollinger and son and Sharlyn Stone, of Salt Lake City, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Stone. Seth Asay and Lawrell Jensen, Jen-sen, of Roosevelt, were visitors at Sunday School, Sunday. Mrs. Gladys Harris returned to her home in Hemet, Calif., Wednesday. She was the house guest of Mrs. Tom Gentrv the past week. ; Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon attended at-tended the funeral for their aunt, Amelia Mitchell, of Mt. Home, Friday. Mrs. Chester Mathison, of Myton, accompanied accompan-ied them. Mrs. Smith Mecham visited Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Mecham of Hancock Cove Wednesday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Virgil Ferguson and children, chil-dren, Nancy and Douglas, spent the weekend in Salt Lake City. Bill Fausett and daughter, Evelyn, visited in Salt Lake Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Clinton Bird, of Hancock Han-cock Cove, called on Mrs. Reed Lemon one day last week. Mrs. Henry Nelson and Mrs. Virgil Ferguson solicited the homes in Ioka last week to help the Polio drive. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay were visiting in Altonah, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken and children, of Roosevelt, were' Sunday visitors of Mrs. Bracken's Brack-en's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percival. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jones and daughter, Nadine, of Denver, who spent a week here with relatives and friends, visited and had dinner with Mrs. John Angus, Tuesday. They left on Thursday to return to their home in Denver. Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Stone received word Tuesday of the birth of a grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Barth Stone, in Salt Lake City. The father is in military mil-itary service and now stationed in Korea. , Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote took Mrs. Richard Spencer and two small children to Salt Lake City Thursday so she could be with her husband and near the daughter who was burned and is still in the hospital. Keith Lemon underwent an operation, Thursday, in a Salt Lake hospital. He is reported as getting along nicely. Most of the Primary officers and teachers attended the Primary Pri-mary Convention in Roosevelt, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Remund and three daughters, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and children spent Friday Fri-day evening with their mother, Mrs. John Angus. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd received re-ceived word of a grandson, born Sunday to Mr. and Mrs. Gam Lloyd at Midvale. |
