Show Activity Night At Ward MIA An' outstanding Speech Arts Activity Night was held at the Mt. Emmons ward Mutual Tuesday, Tues-day, Feb. 2. Chester Hartman related early happenings in Mt. Emmons; Earl Case told of the early church meetings and buildings and related activities. Wm. Evans told of early school experiences and Les Pearson related re-lated the early dances and other socials. There were musical numbers and square dancing after af-ter the meeting, with Mr. and Mrs. Thacker furnishing the music. It was a very enjoyable program and was under the direction of Gayle Case. Mr. and Mrs. Less Orr are enjoying a visit with their daughter, Mrs. Pete Nielson, and son, of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Orr and Mrs. Nielson went to' Vernal Tuesday to spend the day with Mrs. Carl Allen and her family. Mrs. Aleen C. Case had her sister and her husband, of Coalville, Coal-ville, for weekend guests. Mr. and Mrs. Albert LaRose and Mrs. Leonard LaRose, all of Ft. Duchesne, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth LaRose last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. John Price, (Frances Wall), announce the arrival last Sunday, Jan. 31, of a new baby son, born in the Vernal Hospital. Mrs. LeRoy Goodrich and Mrs. Axel Anderson, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young1. Dean Reay, of Altonah, and Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay, of Ioka, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fay Reay. 4 |
