Show Newspaper Advertising Honored For Results Newspaper advertising is credited as an important import-ant factor in increasing beef sales 50 per cent for the first nine months of 1953 compared to the first nine months of 1952. This is according to the Retailers' Retail-ers' Report on America's Beef Problem published by Safeway Stores, Inc. The Safeway Store Manager's booklet on policies poli-cies states their policy on advertising as follows: "Because of their proved effectiveness, newspapers news-papers are used as the primary medium for advertising adver-tising store prices and services whenever they provide pro-vide coverage of the trading area." |
