Show jK school naus . The boys and girls of Mrs. Mitchell's Second grade have been studying weather. They have learned that the thermometer thermome-ter is up when it's warm and down when it's cold. It is colder in winter because we have less sunshine. They are writing stories stor-ies and making booklets. In art they are planning to make a unique flag for an exhibit ex-hibit in the hallway. The flag will be made of paper chains. Our third grade gave the program pro-gram in assembly last Friday. It was about our "Printed Friends," which are our books. We have many nice books in our library. We chose the ones we liked best and acted them out in pantomine and song. The boys sang songs about cowboys and gave two whistling numbers. num-bers. The girls sang songs about dolls and jumping ropes. Other songs were sung by the group.
