Show TRIDELL Doris P. Morrill Gold-Green Ball Held Wednesday The Tridell Ward Gold and Green Ball was held Wednesday evening, under the direction of the M.I. A. at the ward chapel. The hall was beautifully decorated, decor-ated, carrying out the theme of "Arctic Sparkle." The ceiling was covered with blue cheesecloth, cheese-cloth, and had hundreds of foil icicles hanging down. The windows win-dows were decorted with snow designs and winter figures. The stage had a large picture of the Northern lights drawn across the back, and frosted pine trees and a dog sled and team completed com-pleted the stage decorations. Refreshments were sold from an igloo called "Slide Inn." The ladies were presented with a clever dance program in the shape of an igloo, with small lead pencils attached. The orchestra or-chestra for the evening was Neva's. During intermission, the floor show and special musical numbers num-bers were presented. Two dances, dan-ces, one by the Scouts and Bee Hive girls and one bv the Jr. M Men and Jr. Gleaners, were demonstrated. The songs, "Skating "Skat-ing Song" and "Winter," were sung by the Gleaners. A large number of people from Whiterocks, Lapoint and Vernal were in. atttendance. Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Long and family, of Bennett, were dinner guests, Sunday afternoon, after-noon, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Blayne Morrill. |
