Show March will fight vs. drug abuse Throughout the state of Utah various communities and schools will be rallying to join together in a statewide effort and commitment to stop drug abuse in Utah May 22. ELEMENTARY, junior and high schools, youth, adults, communities com-munities and community leaders, or anyone wishing to join in the campaign are invited to band together and rally to "just say no" and tie red ribbons proclaiming "enough! We have had enough!" We have lost too many youth and families because of alcohol and drug abuse. Mrs. Colleen M. Bangerter, First Lady of Utah will lead the walk at the State Capitol Building at 4 p.m. She will be joined by Steve Young; the U of U Athletic Department teams; Salt Lake City Mayor Palmer DePaulis; the Utah Golden Eagles; and joined by 3,000 of Utah's kids. WE ARE encouraging anyone that would like to support her in the walk to meet at the Capitol Building at 4 p.m. Bring your red ribbon banners or a red ribbon as long as your height, school banners, wear your school colors, drug-free tee shirts, etc. and lead Utah in its commitment against drug abuse. |
