Show Jilt x" ' ' WALTER W. WILLEY Volunteer cited ! Walter W. Willey, Bountiful, was honored by Governor and Mrs. Norman Bangerter for volunteer volun-teer services at the Golden Years Center, during the past years. MR. WILLEY received the silver sil-ver bowl at special services held at the White Memorial Chapel in Salt Lake City on April 24. He was one of 24 volunteers who received these silver bowls for community service throughout the state of Utah. The Carnation Company donated don-ated the bowls which were engraved en-graved with the recipients names. MR. WILLEY was nominated by the Golden Years Center in Bountiful, for this honor. In addition addi-tion to his services at the Center, Walt has been commander of the American Legion and has worked with the youth oratorial contest and the Boys State program. Service to his elderly widow neighbors has been one of his great rewards. The volunteer action groups throughout Utah were involved in-volved with this program and presented pre-sented names for these awards.
