Mower Attend Reunion At Parker, Arizona The following people motored to Parker, Arizona during the holidays hol-idays to join in a Hunt reunion, (not a Hamblin reunion as stated last week): Mr. and Mrs. Myron Haslem, David and Carilyn Hunt, Mrs. Morley Hamblin and daughters, daugh-ters, Patty and Joyce, Mrs. James E. Hamblin and family, James B. Alden, Reita, Arva, Mrs. Ila Lar-sen. Lar-sen. They report a fine reunion, Myron and Ruth, David and Carolyn came' home by Boulder Dam, while the rest of the party went on down to Sells, Arizona to visit Delmer, another son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hamblin, who is filling an LDS mission to the Navajo Indians. Delmer is doing do-ing fine work there although just in the field a few months. They are beginning to claim the missionaries mis-sionaries as their own people. SUNDAY SPEAKERS Speakers at Sacrament meeting were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Campbell Camp-bell of Roosevelt and Jesse Hullinger Hul-linger of Ballard. Mr, Campbell spoke on juvenile delinquency and Mrs. Campbell on faith; BIRTHDAY PARTY Dianne Mower invited a group of friends to help her spend her birthday at a party at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mel-vin Mel-vin Mower. Games were played and refreshments served to the following guests: Lanny and Ar-vin Ar-vin Roberts, Ronnie Taylor, Alden Hamblin, Bobby Blanchard, Joan Anderton, Penny Nelson, Judy and Pearl Blanchard, Carl and Karen Mower. COTTAGE MEETINGS BEING HELD IN WARD The Senior Aaronic Priesthood is holding some' very interesting cottage meetings in this ward, under the direction of Ray Summers Sum-mers of the Roosevelt stake. The text used' is "A Marvelous Work and a Wonder' by LeGrande Richards. The meeting at the Ray Brown home was conducted by Pres. Ezra Nixon of Roosevelt, in the absence of Mr, Summers. Refreshments are served and everyone enjoys the lessons very much. Last week, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Litster of Bountiful visited in Montwel. They brought Mr. and Mrs. Henry Litster with them. Henry left the next day for Mass-achussets, Mass-achussets, where he is stationed in the' armed forces. Mr. and Mrs, Howard Crapo are at home again for a while. They have been around Price vicinity, vi-cinity, where Howard' was em-j ployed for a few months. Little Susan Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Roberts, has been very sick the past week with the flu, but is getting along fine now. |
