Show LeetonBenoett Fern Houston Speak Vows Miss Carol Swain, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Swain, was married to Kenneth Phillips Dec. 5, 1955, Kenneth is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Phillips. They have been staying at the home of Mr. Swain, but are leaving leav-ing for Pueblo, Colo., as Kenneth has employment with the Haubs Construction Co. We wish them happiness in their new venture. A miscellaneous shower will be given Friday at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Theo Phillips in Roosevelt Mr. and Mrs, Clair Haslem and sons, Wayne and Bill, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald' Bolton were dinner guests at the home of their son, Ray Haslem of Tridell, for New Year's Day. Word has been received that Mr. and Mrs. John Haslem and Miss Lida Hartle are' enjoying the wonderful weather at Mesa, Ariz. We wish to send the word we are doing the same in the Uintah Basin. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harrison of Neola, were guests at the' home of Mr, and Mrs. "Loraine Bolton Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Betts were overnight guests at the home of Clair Haslem last Thursday. Mrs. Marvin Hamaker received word that her mother, Matilda Ellsworth, is' in the hospital at Golden, Colo, and is in very bad condition. Mrs. Hamaker may leave soon for her bedside. Mrs. Frances Bowen has been in, Salt Lake' the past week with her son, Keith, who will undergo an operation for a disc trouble in the spine. Frances returned today and his wife, Norma, left to be there for the operation which was preformed pre-formed Jan. 10. Miss Dixie Phillips has been home all week. Measles was the trouble. The family of Lynn Haslem is moving back to Blanding Utah, where Mr. Haslem has employment. employ-ment. He' has purchased his father's fath-er's farm and will move back here next year. Mr. Houston took a load of fat cattle to Ogden, Sunday, for the Monday market, Mrs. David Watkins and Mrs. Emerson Hurley were Primary visitors vis-itors Sunday. |
