Show First Christmas Is Depicted At School Program! The story of the First Christ-1 I mas was beautifully depicted by J students of the Roosevelt Elemen-1 tary School last Friday night, when a tableau was presented in a setting of a starry night scene a peaceful blue, broken only by millions of tiny glittering pinpoints pin-points of light flashing brilliantly. The bright guiding star cast its glowing yellow shaft of light o'er the whole scene, as angels, shepherds shep-herds and wise men gathered to pay tribute to the tiny Babe in the manger, who was watched over ov-er by Joseph and Mary. Cast of characters in the tableau tab-leau were as follows: Joseph, Terry Ter-ry Huxford; Mary, Gale Ottosen; 1 angels, Connie Dye, Carol Ann Mecham, Sandra Labrum, Pat Sue Gentry, Becky Labrum, Sandra Wil-kins, Wil-kins, Shirley Fenn, Rebecca Curry, Cur-ry, Karen Sullivan, Patsy Harrison; Harris-on; shepherds, Johnny Shepherd, Sid Rockwood, Glen Gardner, Corey Cor-ey Rosecrans, Lynn Snow, Lacee Harris, Arnold Hamilton, Michael Finch. I The play was directed by Mrs. i Ida Harrison, with Mrs. Elaine ' Hullinger as accompanist. Music was furnished by the students. Climaxing the program was the appearance of Santa Claus, who distributed treats to all children present. |
