Show LAPOIHT Mrs. Mable Jenkins COMMISSIONERS HURT IN CAR WRECK Orville Swain and Curtis Dudley of Jensen went to Logan Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon to attend a business busi-ness meeting of Uintah County Commissioners. They were injured in a car wreck when returning home and were taken to a Logan hospital. Tommy Hacking of Hayden was a visitor of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Burgess Wednesday. The MIA put on the three-act play, "Paper Plates for Papa," Tuesday evening, Dec. 7. Marion Badily went to Sidney, Nebraska, where he will be employed em-ployed in the oil fields. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sprouse and daughter of Vernal visited his mother, Mrs. Mae Sprouse, and sister, Mrs. Thelma Winn, during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Anderson were Roosevelt visitors Monday. GET CHRISTMAS TREES The Boy Scouts with Elroy Walker and Lyle Taylor went to the mountains for Christmas trees. Bishop and Mrs. Lee Walker accompanied their son, Leo, and I family to Salt Lake City Sunday. They went through the Temple Monday. Mrs. Betty Johnson and sons of Roosevelt are visiting her mother, Mrs. Vera Bigelow, and family. Mrs. Fontella Taylor spent last Saturday night with her mother Mrs. Matilda Mooseman of White-rocks White-rocks Mr. and Mrs. Milt Woolley went to Salt Lake Monday and came home in the evening. |
