Show riONTWELL By Bellie Mower Church Program Is Presented Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday evening were: Wm. I. Blanchard, James E. Bacon, James Powell, and Bishop James E. Ham-blin. Ham-blin. "Silent Night" was sung by Kathleen Mower, Joyce and Vivian Hamblin, Janice Powell, Lila Jean Blanchard and Karen Mower. Rose Brown, Mrs. Hazel Brown, and Enid and Inez Brown sang "Star Of The East". Ina Lee Shaw was released as secretary of the YW-MIA YW-MIA and Mrs Coleen Blanchard was sustained in her place. Dean Hansen of Salt Lake City visited Saturday night and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. James Powell and family. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Brown have returned after living the past three weeks in Logan where Wayne has been attending the U. S. A. C. Mr. and Mrs. James Powell and Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson attended a birthday party for Bill Nelson I Saturday night in Roosevelt. Jim Parry spent the weekend at home visiting his parents before returning to Provo where he is attending school. Kay Hamblin is home from the U. S. A. C. for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Brown, Mr. Ray Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson spent a few days this week in Salt Lake City on business. Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Twitchell and family of Beaver, Utah have moved into the old Jim Bacon place. We want to welcome them to our neighborhood. Ted Nelson is home for the holidays holi-days from the B.Y.U. Stake officers who visited Sunday Sun-day School Sunday morning were: Don Horrocks, Evan Percival and Neill Jensen. Bettie Mower, who has been attending the U.S.A.C. in Logan, is home to spend the Christmas holidays holi-days with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mower and family. |
