Show LDS Ward Has Xmas Program A special Xmas program was conducted Sunday morning at the regular services at the Myton LDS ward chapel. Sacrament meeting was held at the LDS ward chapel, Sunday evening, eve-ning, followed by a Fireside Chat at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Burgess. Mr. and Mrs. George Funk and daughter, Joan, left Monday for California where they will spend Christmas with their son, Howard, and their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn Reynolds. Rey-nolds. Mrs. Del Combs, of Salt Lake City, was a visitor Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish. Dal-gleish. Mrs. O. A. Dart laft Monday for Denver, Colo., where she will spend the holidays at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Suchey. LIVES IN ALASKA A recent letter from a former Myton resident, Mrs. E. W. Kron-quist, Kron-quist, was of interest to her host of friends. She is now making her home at Mt View, Alaska, and found the climate there was very much the same as the climate in Myton. A few inches of snow and an occasional drop below zero was the usual winter climate, while the summer was warm but seldom hot and gave a long season sea-son for raising a nice vegetable garden and plenty of flowers. |
