Show Christmas Party Held In Ward The Altonah Ward Relief Society So-ciety held a Christmas party and bazaar Tuesday in the Ward hall. The following program was given: giv-en: Reading, "A Letter for Santa Claus" by Lola James; Reading, Henrietta Carroll; Reading, Lola Jones. Many beautiful articles were on display and bought by the ladies, and a bag of candy and nuts were given to those present. Eighteen ladies were in attendance. A large crowd of people attended at-tended P-TA at Altamont last night. Harold and Rex Flower of Salt Lake City came home over the weekend to take their father, Mr. Jesse A. Flower, to Salt Lake City for more medical care. They were accompanied there by George Mecham, who will stay for a few days with his sister, Mrs. Jane Giggi before going on to Pittsburg, Pitts-burg, California, to spend the winter. Kent Nelson of Neola, assistant to Dr. Dan Dennis, veteranarian of Roosevelt, was in Altonah on Wednesday, vaccinating and test-in test-in cattle for Bangs. Leon Dump arrived home Sunday Sun-day from his elk hunt with an elk. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hyatt of Mt. Emmons moved in the Bennie Mitchell home last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. James Weeks. and family of Garfield visited his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence weeks from Tuesday until Thursday. Thurs-day. Mr. and Mrs Clarence Smith and daughter, Barbara, left Dec. 17 for Cina Lake, California to spend the Christmas holidays with their daughter, Mrs. Willard Snyder Sny-der and Mrs Kenneth Catcott and their families. Mrs. Claude Murray and new baby boy were able to be brought home from the Roosevelt Hospital Saturday, Dec. 18. |
