Show . . School Notes . LONG HORN ROUND-UP f The BYU Uintah Basin Club is presenting a special assembly to all the schools in the Uintah Basin. Bas-in. It was held at Altamont on Tuesday and everyone really enjoyed en-joyed it. Those who participated from this area were Gayle Case, Pauline Winkler and Joan Goodrich. Good-rich. These girls graduated from k Altamont last year and it was . really nice to have them back with us. The title of the assembly s was "A Day at the Y." A real effective idea was tried ( very successfully last Friday. To ; raise funds for the yearbook, the yearbook staff sponsored the day's ' and evening's activities. First thing in the morning an assembly was held and slaves were auction- ! ed to the highest bidder. They were compeled to carry books, bow, shine shoes, and dust the rooms by the person who bought them. , ' Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miles made a trip to Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Shiner on Friday and Saturday. |
